The Business of Death

Kim, regular listener Ron and many others suffered the loss of a loved on this past year. If you are in the group, feel free to call and join us. The fact that grief from loss is a painful ongoing process goes without saying. One aspect not discussed quite as much is the “death business”, from the Dr’s, to mortuary, hospice, to SS, to insurance and much more. I heard things like “We prioritize you and your family’s wishes above all else.” Words like “compassionate, dignified, professional”… That didn’t ring true in practice, but mostly in the brochures and pamphlets. Join us for some harsh realities heaped on the death experience, which adds to the reality of the life experience.
