About Kim

Kim attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha earning her B.S. in Business, then worked in the Financial Services Industry at Jefferson Financial Services for 25+ years. Kim enjoys a variety of activities including natural light photography, where she has been featured in a number of special exhibits. Kim also enjoys writing, entertainment, travel, gardening, and genealogy. She’s been accepted into, and been a longtime member of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and National League American Pen Women (NLAPW), credentialed in both writing and art. Kim is the author of two books, In a Flash Miracles Here and Beyond and Hootie’s Hollow and the Magic Tree (click here for more information).

She has a spirit of adventure and discovery, frequently keeping her husband, Gary, guessing about what’s coming next! Gary served in the USAF, retiring after 20 years where he was stationed at Offutt AFB in Bellevue, Nebraska. He is a native of the D.C. area, but decided to make his permanent home in Omaha after he met Kim. They were married 05-05-05 at 5:00pm and look forward to sharing the remainder of their journey, together. Kim was born, raised and is still living in Omaha. They share their home with dogs Libby and Tino, and Sun Conure bird Petey. The “Animal House” comedy isn’t only in the movies!
